My 3xgreat grandparents, Jeremiah W. TIBBETTS and Catherine Isabelle MENARD,
were married 1853-03-21 in Dresbach, Winona County, MN. I understand that
Winona Co. was not organized until 1854. If this is so, where would this
marriage have been recorded? I have been told that their's was the first
marriage in Dresbach. I would surely appreciate any help/advice as to where

I am looking for information on my father's dad. Surname BAADE, first name
starting with an H, possibly Hank or Henry Baade. Died when my dad was little
probably died in the 1940's. Think he was born in Iowa. I have been unable
to locate anything. Probably died in the southern part of the state. Thanks.

emigrated from Norway in 1901.His destination was Minneapolis, MN.The family
in Norway does not have any information on what happened to him.

Faribault/Fairmont areas. Orrin, Katherine, Phoebe and Michael. Michael enrolled
for Union Army Ft Snelling 1862-65, stayed in MN until after 1878.
